Yes a new year is upon us and wedding season is just around the corner. My Havalee is growing like a weed (except for her hair, poor thing) and I am such a proud daddy. While other blogs are loaded with year in reviews of their favorite 2011 photos (our post is coming shortly) this one is enjoying his favorite 2011 baby.

Heard that I was featured in OC Weekly's best of issue for photography. After a little search on their website, found the rumor was indeed true. Lee + Victoria San Francisco Wedding

My Daughter, the Princess...

They say kids grow up fast. My daughter will be three in March and it seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital as a baby. They say you can't go back in time so I made this quick video to freeze time and remember my princess in her worn out cinderella dress. I pray her future prince loves her as much as I do.

I can't believe it has been over a month since the last post. With a new baby, weddings and following the CT surf contest around North America it doesn't give you time to blog it up. Any who, this couple is deserving of some love. Dave & Jeanelle had such a unique wedding with the bride making the ties, saree bridesmaid dresses from Sri Lanka, a butterfly cake, custom photo booth and a send off car that was down right messed up. There are more small photos in this post than normal so go slow and enjoy.

Havalee Madison Klein...Welcome!

Another lady has entered my life. I never thought my family could get any better but this little miracle has done it. Havalee Madison Klein was born last Sunday, August 14th, 2:30am, 7lbs, 12oz. My wife is such a champion with only 2 pushes to get this baby out. God bless the epidural. I love my bride more now than 8 years ago on our wedding day.

What does croquet, botchy ball, burgers, lemonade, barns, horses, fresh air, mountain views and a live band all have in common? They are a recipe for an insane wedding. Shane and Talia met each other while working as white water rapid guides so you can see outdoor fun makes this couple sing. Their day was nothing but good times, smiles and a few tears of joy. The Holland Ranch in San Luis Obispo was a great place to get married and Shane and Talia were a great couple to photograph.

Hawaii in December

I've been in Hawaii since Monday and am very excited about all the action that has been going down. Some highlights have been swimming in warm water, big waves and crazy clouds. The images created thus far have been more moody than the typical Hawaiian luaus, waterfalls and mai tais.

Last week I got a text from my buddy Corban Campbell about shooting his marriage proposal on a boat. He's a stud so I said I'd be there. We met in the harbor in San Diego and went out with friends to check out a surf spot...wink, wink. We never made it to the surf spot because Corban popped the question with Raquel thinking he was joking. After she realized what was really going on she said yes of course. Oh to be in love!

After hanging around this beautiful little guy for a while it got me excited to have another kid for Shiloh to play with. There is something about the new baby smell that's addicting.

I've known the Medlins for a long time now. Andy taught me how to do banana corner kicks back in 6th grade and I used to play kick the can with Christy in the streets of Anaheim.
